  1. “The Ford Business Centre is a business unit dedicated to providing a high level of customised service to Corporate, Government and Rental customers.”
  2. Their current range of products looks pretty impressive to me. They have a wide range of vehicles for the tradesman, the family and the explorer. They also have a wide range of used cars on offer. Their services include discounted prices on certain goods for FORD owners and a business centre as mentioned above.

Today we did the Acids and carbonates. We had to mix sodium bicarbonate, ammonium carbonate and calcium carbonate with nitric acid and hydrochloric acid. We then had to test each of these solutions with matches first and then with limewater.

Often the smoke from the match flame got sucked down into the tube when a carbonate and nitric acid were mixed. When the match was tested with hydrochloric acid and a carbonate, it mainly started to bubble.

Most of the time when limewater was mixed with a carbonate and nitric acid, it went cloudy, this also happened with the hydrochloric acid.

Some safety issues may be with nitric acid, it is highly corrosive and toxic and in its pure state is very smelly. Also Hydrochloric acid is highly corrosive as well.

  1. The term interactive TV is being able to take control of what you watch by downloading your own shows from the Internet. It is like having your own channels.
  2. Interactive TV would now be called TV 2.0 because you can customize it and change it just like web 2.0 tools.
  3. I think that a positive would be not having anything you like on so you’re never bored out of your wits, another would be that you only pay for what you use. A negative would be, because people are watching TV all the time, nobody would be doing anything else, everybody would get fat. You also have to use broadband to  download it.
  4. The original Apple TV did not have direct access to itunes but now does, it now has better settings with HD and DVD.

  1. The Dalai Lama is a teacher and scholar to the Buddhist faith. He is also known as “the peacemaker from Tibet”. He is a world symbol for a non violent response to aggression. I think that he is a good person who tries to tutor others in the Buddhist faith.
  2. I do not think that the Dalai Lama is showing examples of moral integrity because it seems to me that if the going gets too tough, he will back down and resign. This to me says that he is more a teacher than a leader.

  1. Youtube is used as a source of digital media advertising because it is easy to use, easy to access and thousands of people use it daily (mainly for entertainment).
  2. Sites such as these offer news and advertisements all the time and it is continually being updated. Our society is about quick, easy and efficient services, which these things provide. They are popular also because rather than waiting to the end of the news to see the sports results, you can look them up in a few minutes on the Internet.

  1. The purpose of using youtube as a source of digital media advertising is because it is easy to access, easy to use and thousands of people access it each day.
  2. Rather than people having to wait for the six o’clock news every night, they can just look it up on these sorts of sites and find out straight away. Today’s society is all about quick, efficient and easy services which would help to increase the popularity of these things. People can put on more news and advertisements more regularly and also. Advertising companies can also post their information everywhere for anybody to see.
