  1. Moral maturity is knowing the difference between right and wrong and listening to your conscience, if you have one.
  2. The reasons that this man had a lack moral maturity is because when he had been caught out for what he did, he refused to be taken captive and spat at the police. He was disrespectful to authority and did the wrong thing in the first place.
  3. Morality is  knowing between right and wrong  and actually trying to to the right thing. Immorality is basically not caring what happens or what you do, anything goes.
  4. Governor Spitzer’s actions would be regarded immoral because he broke his word in the worst way, made a promise and did the opposite. He was involved with prostitution after having promised to “clean up the area”.

The way that we will organise our multimedia sales pitch is to film a couple of our group members presenting the information  in a general way accompanied with clips and images. We will then produce some more detailed reports and maps for the people to refer to if they are interested.

Our research is going pretty well and I think that the group is working fairly well together.  We should get some good research within the next couple of lessons.

I know nothing about imovie but I can use moviemaker and my dad can show me how to record and edit videos. That is about all that my experience extends.

The way that I will organise my multimedia sales pitch might be to out a video up on youtube selling our idea or to just put a presentation on a britannica website for people to view.

I would probably get a few of our group members together and do a sort of news report and film it. We would then publish it on our blogs and try and get it on the school website.

I could not find any other sites related to these topics.

4. If the Australian government banned the internet, I would be both happy and annoyed. I would be happy because there would be no more PBL homework and we would go back to normal classes. I wouldn’t be so happy because we couldn’t access information for tennis tournaments and our favourite sports stars. Also we would be banned from online games.

One privilege that I would lose would be communication. Communication can be like msn, bebo and hot mail. Another would be the loss of broadcasting yourself, for example if you are wanting to save the whales, you could simply post it on youtube and millions have access to it. A third privilege could be for when I am old and frail, a trip down to the bank would not be as easy as it sounds. Therefore I would need to use internet banking.

The pracs that we did were a good change from the bookwork and I found them quite fun. I hope that all the pracs can be as fun and simple as these. Hopefully some can be a bit more reactive and something explodes.

I think that this project should be more interesting and I should stay out of trouble. I think that I will probably get a better mark as well, I didn’t even understand how the last marking criteria worked.

My group is much better this time and we should work well together.

Journal 2 Tuesday, Mar 18 2008

Today I hope that we can get a lot of work done today and get a proper start on the project.

i don’t think that our group will get heaps of work done unless i keep on their backs all the time. by the end of this lesson i hope to get our need to know lists done and our progress chart.

ADELAIDE has survived the longest heatwave of an Australian capital city, going through 15 days with maximum temperature above 35 degrees celsius.

Journal 1 Monday, Mar 17 2008

Today I hope that we can get our meeting over and done with, without getting too distracted. I think that the group that i have will do some work but not as much as my old group.

I had better keep on their backs so that they do their work and don’t go wandering off and doing something stupid.
