in the first parable Jesus is trying to teach us the value of mercy
in the second parable Jesus is trying to teach us the value of persistence
in the third parable Jesus is trying to teach us the value of putting God over money
My story is a story of persistence, it is about when my brother and i went out to try and sell raffle tickets. We went to heaps of houses but only sold about two. My brother went home but i kept going and sold the rest.

The Stolen Generation
Someone
Turns out the last light
A Blackout
And
A dormitory full of black kids sigh
Unknowing
Waiting for parents to return
A shallow promise from government guardians
If you sleep
A white education waits
If you wake
And
Forgive
The theft of your black soul
And
The destruction of your family
- The first thing that I would like to point out is the fact that this poem has no flow or rhythm to it. It is disjointed and jumping all over the place. it is most likely meant to suit the theme of the poem, separation and brokenness.
- The poem doesn’t rhyme either, but i think that this particular poem is not meant to rhyme but to make you think about it and not just skimming over it to a tune.
- This poem does have stanza’s but they are very short and stunted. Also it has no full stops at all.
- It uses various imagery like Someone Turns out the last light A Blackout and The theft of your black soul. This helps to get the reader involved and engaged in the text, it makes it more interesting.
- The storyline, if you can call it that, runs throughout the whole poem.
- I think that this poem is third person because the author is using the words your and you.
- The tone of the poem is sort of depressing and I think is suitable for what the poem is about.

beatitude means to me a promise of happiness and prosperity, if we fulfill our part. The purpose of the beatitiudes is to say what is in store for us if live as a witness to christ and and don’t back down at the time of testing.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy. inspiring people of faith put this beatitude into practice by giving mercy out to others expecting nothing in return.
One example of this would be mother theresa constantly giving mercy to the sick and dying of calcutta.

The aborigines land was taken up by European farms, townships and pasturage’s. The aborigines tried to fight back but were far inferior to the European colonies and there wasn’t much that they could do.
the aboriginals were unused to the new diet of mainly flour, tea and sugar. They contracted diseases they had no immunity to and no cure such as small pox.
The aboriginal population sharply decresed in number and those that didn’t die off became paupers.
only those aborigines lucky enough to live in less densely populated areas fared better. in those regions the aboriginies had a sort of pact with the white men because the white men relied on the aborigines for labor anf ther aboriginies depended on the white men for goods like tabacco and sugar.
by 1934, full blooded aborigines numbered only 50 000 from an estimated 350 000.

I think tha the above image is about andrew johns values and life vs mother theresa’s.
5 personal qualities of andrew john’s are leadership, courage and all Iv’e seen in the press isn’t worth putting up.
5 personal qualities of mother theresa are compassion, love, care, friendlliness, hospitality and selflessness.
The difference between inspiring people and those of faith is that the inspiring people do it without knowing god helped but the people of faith acknowledge God’s hand in what they are doing.

the term charism means something that an individual has like a gift or power from God that gives the individual influence over large numbers of people.
one charism is leadreship which is necessary for being a person of rank, another is sacrifice this is necessary if you are to be working with children and also prayer.
i have seen the teachers making sacrifices for the students like doing things for them after school, i have seen brother patrick display a good amount of leadership and the students have prayer before each class.

I am satisfied with most of our groups progresss and we are moving along fairly steadily. I think the only thing that will stuff us up or slow us down will be putting the info in the text types.
pretty much everybody is pulling their weight and i don’t really have any complaints.
what needs to happen now is put our grafts together in the correct text types.
